Does anyone have a good recommendation for an 18350 battery and charger? Or, some tips on how to choose the right battery?
also, this is a pretty thorough writeup of this flashlight: http://lightsngear.com/nitecore-ec11-flashlight-review/

jeffstyleFor battery chargers I will ALWAYS recommend Nitecore. Whether you get their i2 intellicharger for simple, cheap, reliable, and safe functionality; or one of their d2 or d4 digital readout chargers so that you have a better understanding of what is going on with your batteries is entirely up to you. Whichever one you choose will serve you very well.
Remember that Nitecore lights have a habit of only accepting button-top batteries so you need to avoid flat-top batteries. I currently have a few red Efest IMR 18350 800 mAh batts that I'll be using with this light. That isn't to say that they're the best ones to use now, but two years ago with I was only using these batteries for vaping they were the most reliable I could find. If you want good battery recommendations I'd actually point you at one of your local vape shops simply because they put far more stress on their batteries than most flashlight enthusiasts do.

VulpesThank you! That's really helpful information. I'm gonna pick up one of those digital readout chargers.

jeffstyleGlad to help! One last thing to mention regarding batteries; I forgot to state this because it was the first advice I was given - Stay away from batteries with the word "fire" in the name. (TangsFire, LingsFire, DemonFire, TrustFire, etc.) It may be mere superstition, but it's a rule I live by.
