I've been waiting over a year for this resolution, in IPS with Freesync for when Vega drops. I just can't trust this brand. Anyone have any experience? Love my Dell monitors to date and was planning on keeping them.

slumberlustNixeus is the maker of what is probably considered one of the best 1080p Freesync monitors on the market today which has also been featured as a drop on this site multiple times in the past: the NX-VUE24(A or B). Personally I've only ever seen glowing reviews of that monitor and a friend of mine has been using that model for the better part of a year (he absolutely loves it). On paper, the main differences between that model I mentioned and the one in this Drop are the screen sizes (24" vs. 27"), the panel type (the VUE24 uses a TN), and the resolution (1080p for the VUE24) so basically this new model is just a bigger, badder version of the VUE24. It would probably be a good idea for you to look up independent reviews of their other products (they make various peripherals such as monitors, mice, and keyboards) to give you more insight into this beyond just my testimony but my impression of Nixeus so far has been rather positive. Good luck.

They're good displays, but the ViewSonic XG2401/2701 beat them out with better color presets out of the box.
