Is this a good monitor to pair with a 1080 ti or is better to just go with a g sync monitor?

nonsense73Get this monitor. G-sync is great and all, but idk if I would pay another $300 for it. I got this monitor the last time it dropped and I freakin love it. Colors are crisp, the matte on the screen is nice, and the price is low.

dabrattoYes. I have used a 1080 and a 1060 with the monitor. It would be nice to use freesync, but I never really had any noticeable stutters that made me want to get an rx 56 or rx 64.

nonsense73I am currently using a 1060 and a 1080. I would recommend pairing this monitor with either gpu. If you want to get the high framerates, the 1080 is the obvious choice.

gandhi98as long as you are matching, or just stay just barely under, the max refresh rate of the monitor then you shouldn't see any tearing.

dabrattoCorrect. I usually limit the frame rate to 144 hz anyways. I don't care about reducing lag. I am not a pro gamer. I have a good cpu, so I don't really face any frame rate drops. Tbh gsync and freesync are great at low framerates, but I'd be lying if I said I missed at higher frame rates.

BobbyGoblinThat is in correct. You will not get 100% feature, but can still sync.
