I own a noodlers pen, I absolutely love it. It is probably the most fun pen I have (I have a few other fountain pens). There are a couple of things you need to be warned about before you purchase though:
1: They are extremely scratchy. The steel flex nib will not be smooth at all compared to your other non-flex (or if you're lucky, vintage gold flex) pen. It's actually the scratchiest pen I have by far.
2: Unless you're extremely lucky, it will have flow issues straight out of the box. This pen needs tinkering. You probably have to do the works, flushing the pen with soap, adjusting the nib and feed, and heatsetting until you find the "sweet spot" for your pen, where it won't railroad and have good flow.
3: These pens use more ink than you imagine. If used on a regular basis, and flexed often, you'll find yourself filling the converter 1-3 times weekly.

HighfallIf ink capacity is an issue, I'm not sure which pen you're referring to, but the Ahab can easily be converted to an eye dropper so it holds 6ml of ink. I've used my Ahab with a swabbed out medium goulet nib like this for months.
