I own regular non "premium" version of this pocket saw. I assume the only difference is that premium one has leather handles and leather case that doubles the cost. I believe for its size and weight, it's good as a backup or emergency tool for occasional use. I always have one with me in my backpacking/bikepacking gear. It doesn't meant to be a serious replacement for ordinary saws and, obviously, this one can't compete with folding saws or extractable saws like Fiskars Xtract, which is both light and ridiculously efficient. The main benefit for Nordic Pocket Saw it's ultra-compact size and light weight. It still capable to cut some thick branches you can't/won't brake with bare hands. You can even cut logs though this takes a lot of effort and endurance. Also chain can easily stuck/be jammed by the wood.
