anyone know if you can use this externally? My case doesn't have a 5.25in slot. I'm thinking you can but wiring might seem like a pain.

TheEggSampleYou could perhaps get some wiring extensions or splice in longer wires to reach everything... Would look kind of "meh" though with a wiring harness running around the PC lol.

willgreenzillaI see. Yeah, it'd be disappointing if it was visible. I figure most all cases have good cable management areas now that I don't really worry about ugly looking cables unless they're going to be visible.
