kartiksathappanThat would be awesome, but these aren't really custom as much as they are made-to-order. We have some additional flexibility with things like mixing up materials and styles from their current trench boot, but we can't make any big design changes to their product line.

DemandriusThanks for your input. OSB does not make a vibram heal boot. It is either a whole vibram sole, leather or dainiate. What I want to know please from IanAnderson (since massdrop product details are vague on this), is if a "vibram sole" is an option in the checkout/commitment page, or is it just leather and dainite soles only.

HeyvikoIt seemed fairly self explanatory to me. The description page lists either leather sole with vibram toplift, or dainite sole with dainite toplift.

I understand your concern over the sole, however, have you confirmed with OSB that they do not make vibram heel boots? The massdrop rep has also mentioned that some of the configurations in this drop are unique to MD.

HeyvikoI own a pair of OSB in black with leather sole. If it helps clarify, the heel of the boot (the raised part in the back of the boot, called the toplift) is layered leather ending in a vibram piece, but the rest of the sole is still leather.

HeyvikoTo help further clarify, I thought I would provide a photo of my OSB sole, which I purchased at full price from Nordstroms. The toplift doesn't have the signature "vibram" stamp in the rubber, but when they were new, it had a trademarked "vibram" sticker on it which I peeled off before wearing.

IanAndersonYou had mentioned possibility of putting in an early phase of ordering last Saturday. Did that happen or is it going to be normal wait for early participants?

jerrylinI passed along the current order as of Saturday, but I don't want to promise that they will be delivered any earlier. It just allowed the guys at OSB to start production this week instead of next week.
