Noting against forty-dollar hooded sweatshirts, just think you should get a forty-dollar hooded sweatshirt for your money. This one costs forty-dollars, but it isn't one.

RayFWhat makes it not one? Can you provide details? That would be helpful, thanks.

LaneMeyerFrench terry is another word for a cheesy version of thin, stretchy knit fabric that's smooth on one side and looped on the other. It's cheap to make but tends to shrink and stretch out of shape with use and washing. It's okay for a novelty item (like these), but not durable enough for demanding, long-term, utility wear (like camping/fishing/boating). If you looking for utility, check out Carhartt at about the same price. If you're looking for something less durable/more fashionable, this one'll do.
