I used these pens to refill my TI2 pen that I got on massdrop. It may be the way I write, but the tips seem to dry out and clog very often. It's only been one month but I've had to discard three pen refills because of this problem. Only the first was near empty; the others have been almost full.

utdeepYour cartridge may be too fine for your paper. The finer sizes can be rather picky.

NinjasquirrelThat makes sense, although I've heard (and my personal experience agrees) that in general the 0.3mm has some trouble starting occasionally. That said, I don't mind as I love the fine tip. I'm even considering dropping for the 0.25mm—the finer the better!

darkfelineMy favorite line is the 0.3mm. After long experimentation, I've found this cartridge to be extremely reliable and never dries out when used DAILY.
For occasional use pens, if it lies unused for a couple days or longer, it can and will need to be re-primed. I threw away a cartridge or two, thinking them unsalvageable, back when I started using these. How foolish - they were fine! They just need to be re-primed. This can take longer than some other pens. You will need a piece of scratch paper and a couple minutes of firm writing to re-prime the pen, but it will come back.
It's also worth noting that the factory pens have a soft rubber piece in the cap which effectively keeps them from drying, which is not replicated in many (any?) aftermarket hosts like the Ti2 pen. That said, I use the Ti2 pen daily as my EDC with no problems... it's IMO the best host available for this cartridge.

darkfelineAt that point i will say to buy yourself nice paper since most mainstream paper will not give you very good control.
