Free international shipping?
Hmm,seems too good to be true,it is true or a mistake?
And did you guys improved your packaging for inks?Last time i got 1 broke bottle from a Noodler drop.
EDIT: I don't know if it is fixed or something, now i see the shipping fee of $40.20

DeathWatchJust to update my previous comment about the broken bottle, Massdrop sent me replacement for the broken bottle without any fuss (I only have to send them the picture of the disaster, which with inks, is not something that you want. )

j-ookamiYeah i know their customer service is good but let's be frank it is best for us and them to not have a broken bottle in 1st place. And their ink packing is not very well padded, almost just like a normal packing which they used to ship all other product.

DeathWatchYeah...we're working on this. Too many of the J. Herbin 1670 ink bottles were broken in transit, we've been in touch with our warehouse regarding better packing of all the inks we ship.

JonasHeinemanThanks for the quick respond, but there is still some more question that i'd like to ask.
1st is this drop benefiting from upgraded packing?Since it costs 40.20 for me....Which is 1/3 of the cost.
And about the DHL GLOBAL MAIL that you're currently using,do i have to pay tax and import fees for any international packages that i will receive from Massdrop?I used normal DHL before and they always make me pay custom fee and provide them a import list of the item plus my ID card...Which cost me more in the end and are annoying as hell.I haven't got my 1st package from Massdrop using DHL yet,do you have any idea about the custom fee?If so will you consider giving people the option between UPS MI and DHL GLOBAL MAIL?At least when you are using UPS MI i never paid any custom fee which is a massive saving.
Thanks!
UPDATE:I have received some stuffs from Massdrop,no i don't have to pay tax since DHL actually uses German Postal Service to carry packages across the border.

DeathWatchTotally depends on where you live. If you're in Australia, there are no customs duties or sales tax payable on items under $1000. If you're in the UK that might be different. But if you're NOT in the UK you should check the price at a large UK online stationery retailer like cultpens.com, because when you buy from another country you don't pay VAT - even the Pelikan M1000 comes out to around the same price as Massdrop offers. Shipping is careful and is cheaper, and it's on your doorstep in about a week. I love this ink, I have three colors and want the set, but the shipping really kills the value of this deal for me.

aeberbachWell...You offered good suggestions but i live in somewhere more remote where the custom rules the land.....Our country offers tax-free policy for any item if its custom fee is under $10.....So it is basically useless...And most of the time even if it is under $10 the courier changes me anyway...Custom declaration fee they say.....
I live no where near Europe...I live in Asia....PRC to be exact.....If i use anything beside Postal service i am bound to pay custom fee and get my package open then touched by custom, and they aren't careful people...

DeathWatchOh gosh, the customs at PRC (and maybe in general) are absolutely dreadful. I work with commercial shipments to PRC on regular basis, half of the time the package came like the shredded just ate it then spat it back out. The other half, it looks like they played football with it
