rbringasI'm about 160 lbs and 5'9" and I swim in a medium. After washing a small though it fit pretty much like a shirt. Man, these things used to be 29.99 on Pointer's website a few years back. I've got Osh Kosh and Blue Bell barn coats as well as a fisher stripe Pointer and none of them are really that flattering. They're made for slopping the hogs as opposed to pounding beers at Hipster Brewery... This is me in my medium after washing it hot and drying it hot. (before I altered it with darts and taking in the sides)

I refer to measurements from this site (http://shop.buckshotsonnys.com/product/pointer-brand-x-buckshot-sonny-s-smokey-branch-chore-coat) which seems to be more accurate, and from there I see that I should be getting an S. However, my chest seems to be 2'' smaller than yours, so should I be going for an XS instead? Many thanks.

brianjsgohI'm two inches taller and 10 pounds heavier, but also have a 37" chest. I had a different style Pointer jacket in Small and it had been washed and it fit me like a shirt more than a jacket. So an unwashed Small would probably fit you.

SilverheadI have measured again and I seem to have a 38'' chest at its widest point, but pit-to-pit is about 37''. I think an S should be fine. Many thanks!

For reference, I am 5'7", 165lbs, 39" chest, and a Small fits me very well with enough room to layer a sweatshirt and tee.
