Final found a band for my Citizen. It's a 23mm lug with curved end pins. This band was soft enough to compress and since it's handmade with a little fold over at the ends the curved pin fit nicely in the strap. I do agree that the lower strap with the holes is rather long. Not sure if it was intended this way for trimming by end user.
