I've never heard of Puma before. Can anyone comment on their quality. This knife looks beautiful but I want to make sure it a good usable knife and not an all show and no go piece.

AsmodeousPuma has been around longer than most. It is a traditionalist old school knife. The knives made in germany are well regarded--they go so far as to individually rockwell test each and every knife (at least they did 20 years ago). There should be a small dent the size of a grain of sand on the side of each blade where a prob was pushed down into the metal to determine rockwell hardness of the blade--to guarantee that every knife sent out is up to spec. That's impressive since no other knife company that I know of tests every knife in this way. This seems to be a good price and it is definitely a user rather than display knife.
