I purchased just the mechanical lapboard without the mouse and have been very happy with it. I have been using it daily for over a year without any problems other than with the software that manages the illumination. However, a recent patch to Roccat Swarm seems to have fixed all those issues for me. The keyboard is exactly what I wanted from a mechanical and the mouse surface works just fine. I also appreciate that the lapboard has a couple USB's built in so you won't have to stretch cords for your peripherals. After a little over a year of gaming pretty regularly with this product, I see little to no signs of wear and it works perfectly for my unique gaming setup.
