a bit confused , what does all of this have to do with the product ? very impressive, good for them ... as a consumer am I suppose to buy a product because of this ?

This is a ballpoint pen, it writes an extra bold 1.4mm, the inks are waterproof, light resistant and documental. An average ballpoint pen writes 1/3 mile, the Memo has a write out length of 1.5 miles. The stainless steel tip is wear resistant guaranteeing consistent write out and ink flow. Of all the Schneider pens we sell in the USA, the Memo outsells them all. The ink is a patented formula called Viscoglide and produces vivid, colorful lines as in a gel ink pen without the mess. The fast drying ink is particularly great for lefties. The barrel has an ergonomic shape and rubberized surface.

my opinion , if Schneider or MD really care about this they can add it to the product as a card or on pens' the rapping, and get a way with it if they upload a picture of it.
PS: Schneider is one of the biggest companies I know Schindler from other products, I never knew Schneider produces writing instruments until I joined MD.
