The WiFi dongle and ethernet cable are 100% superfluous. I'd argue that the HDMI cable is as well. Would like to see a kit that contains only what I actually need with a Pi 3 - case, sd card, power supply. You can buy all that stuff and a Pi 3 separately for around $60 shipped and not have to wait three weeks for it to show up.
