Hi Could you guys help me out.
I'm looking to Build my First Arcade Stick for Fighting Games on PC. Games like Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite, Street Fight V etc... Mainly Steam fighting Games. I am very new to this and I don't know where I should start. Would this Project be Is it difficult? Would I be able to Build one from these Parts? Once its build do I need to tinker with software / firmware ? Or is it Plug & Play once its done.
Thanks!

MidnighTempest1: Difficulty will be medium if your only looking to play games that a readily available on Steam like Street Fighter V.
2:You would be able to use these parts for a Windows based arcade build without issue. Though I would only buy these part if your trying to build it on the cheap. The joystick and buttons here do not have the best fell to them but they do work. The only issue I've have with this Seeed kit is that the joystick did not fully function out of the box. One of the directions would not register unless I pressed it really hard. Took about 3 hours for it to work properly so I'm guessing it had to do with the fabrication of the metal are for that direction. If you are ok with spending some extra money look online for some better parts.
3: You are trying to build your own arcade machine so there will always be some software tinkering involved. Like I said in the first point if your going off of steam only it should be pretty simple but if you decide to use emulators then that changes things. Look into https://www.fightcade.com/ if you want to just make a fighting cab with online modes and from emulation.
PS: Google the crap out of every question you have. This will make it or break it for you. You can buy prebuilt or ready to assemble arcade cabs that just need the organs put in (PC, screen, buttons, speakers ) for cheap so look into that and make sure your parts are compatible.
