Received my iron from the last posting and this thing is amazing. Definitely not wireless but might as well be since the power wire going into the iron is so much thinner and flexible than any "normal" iron I have ever used...it doesn't yank the iron around at all. Heat time (and consequently cool time when you are done) is impossibly fast. I'm used to having to plug in my old iron and then going to get a drink/snack while it is coming to stable temp. The Seeed was up to temp and ready to go in literally seconds. The advertising video on the drop is not sped up at all. Room temp to 300d in "wife jaw dropping" time. I had to show her and even she, who is NEVER interested in my electronics crafty stuff, was impressed at how quickly it was usable on a connection.
I was worried when an earlier comment mentioned something about not having control of the tip. My hand to tip measurement on this iron is about 2/3 the distance of any other iron I have, which meant MORE control, not less. VERY happy so far.
