Thanks for the response. Appreciate it. There are or use to be Seiko factory outlets where they would have "less than perfect" watches for sale in a separate space at a discount. Someone at Seiko made that determination. Robots or not, Seiko has quality assurance / control procedures in place. They inspect every watch robotically or people sample watches from production runs, or they do both. They kick out watches that don't meet standards. They're not going to reprocess these "defective" watches and they find their way onto the market. Whether Seiko uses "1st Quality" or not, it exists. This is the low end of the Prospex line, but is Prospex none the less. Am not expecting mis-alignment of shroud to watch for a Prospex. With an MSRP of over $500 (is that right?), they must do QA/QC to separate out those watches that don't meet standards. What do they do with these watches? Not saying that's the case here, but it's something for MD and its patrons to be aware of. MD patrons rely on MD to perform due diligence on vendors. Not saying you're not doing that, but using occasion of this glitch to dialog in an effort to up our game. Would have much rather just put the watch on and wear it rather than dialog, but that's where we are. As mentioned in last comment, wondering if anyone else has noticed minor flaws. Yes, have contacted support and will send picture later. Thanks again and regards.

Steverinobecause you have received a so called 'less than perfect' watch, you suddenly became QC engineer in watch manufacturing huh? you either got a lemon or you are too fussy. admit it, and skip the 50 sentences in your reply.
