I would be all over this drop but until Massdrop addresses the concerns of those who already have received watches with the dent issue, I can't risk it.

Royalpig180@payodpanda @Synaptixx @MMX7 @jrlee4 @Jake73I personally haven't heard of this dent before, however it seems like it's a known blemish for this particular product. The watches that we sell are in new condition, so I have to assume that this is how some units may arrive from the manufacturer, regardless of which sales channel you purchase from. That said, I wouldn't call this a common blemish based on what i've seen on forums. (Also, our sample unit did not arrive with the dent, so I am unable to comment on how visible it may be in person versus the picture that @Synaptixx posted.)
We will need to look into it more, however if you happened to receive a watch with this dent from the previous drop, please contact our support by going to your transactions page. https://www.massdrop.com/transactions

payodpanda@payodpanda @individual I've purchased this watch in the last drop. I am happy with the watch as there is no *visible* dents on the dial when looked with naked eye. However, if you stare at the watch absurdly close up and wiggle/adjust your wrist to get a better angle view then you may see the dent.
I must admit that I have only a single dent on the dial, which is above the calendar. I must say I am a bit picky on things that's not appealing to my eye although, this dent is absolutely not noticeable and not irritating to naked eye (you can't see it unless you really look for it).
I was told there are some people received with absolute no dents (which are extremely lucky and rare) and most of this model comes with the dent as I am not the only one. There are others from the last drop which also got the dents and have uploaded images (see page 7).
I'm still curious if this has been fixed.
ps: If you're not in the U.S you will receive the parcel around 4 weeks+ after the stated delivery date. (which is what happened to me.)

kaiden@kaiden Thanks for the heads-up, mate. Other question that comes to mind is, is your date window skewed or misaligned? From the looks of the featured image on this drop, it seems like. Thanks a bunch!

individualThat's simply because it's past 10pm on the watch; the date has begun to change.

payodpandaThat was my assessment as well. I own a couple Seikos (not with this exact movement however), and they all do that between about 10PM and 1 AM as the date is starting to change.

individual@individual Not at all, it may look like that from viewing angle, but certainly not misaligned. Here's a picture I just shot today.
