When in truth these speakers were seen during the whole weekend Fri-Mon at retailers all over the world. The supply was not artificially controlled in any way most had them still avalible for purchase on monday. These were even listed for ~160USD in my country with free shipping, EU power leads, local warranty. 100+ stock and didn't sell out.
Problem with refunds is it's a lengthy process with Massdrop and my thought is people didn't want to be stuck with multiple pairs would they not be granted refund from Massdrop. Which is in no way as guaranteed as you make it sound in heinzeit. So we already missed out on the better deals. Now we get to choose between this or no deal at all.
So basic PR. You oversell Massdrops efforts and drastically undersell other vendors in an effort to save face. Not informative or helpful.
