I'm finding it really odd that the play/pause and track jumping buttons don't work on the remote when line in is used... Aren't keyboard media keys driverless functionality in OS X/Windows/most Linux distros?

PatHeist"line in" being headpone jack. though I'm curious why nowadays things aren't doing the inline remote controls that most phones (and even my mac laptop) support.
the reason it's "driverless" is *because* the device shows up actually as 2 usb devices: 1 keyboard (with "media keys") and 1 generic sound card, but you have to be using usb for that :)
