I bought these on massdrop and i like them at first. Then they sounded like crap. after removing the grills, the reflux cone on the back side is seperating from the foam surround cone. both L and R have seperated and I had to super glue them back in place. do not buy!!!!!!!!!!!!

JimCmate there made by ex employees of LINN they are quality . its obvious you have blown them, should have added the separate base unit, had mine 4 years now and perfect and not changing them for anything,. got mine for £75 from groupon

JimCyeah, they are definitely quality. Mines are still going 5+ years.
did you use them for their intended purpose? or did you kick it like a ball or something?
if you are trying to use these as some concert speakers or home theater setup, then you are using it wrong.
The intend of these speakers are for desktop use or for a smaller room. and if you are planning to blast music, definitely get a separate sub-woofer for the full sound stage.
