Besides the appearance, is there any difference between the raw and the black? I am curious as to why the black is $5 more than the raw. Is the black of sturdier construction than the raw?

etcnologinIt's due to the cost of anodizing the aluminium to get the black colour. Raw is just what it says, raw, untreated aluminium.

yayyap159Go here: http://standardrazors.com/ and scroll down to where it says "QUICKVIEW AND ADD TO CART". Underneath that title, the page says:
"Two anodized finishes: Matte Raw and Matte Black, plus one rare colorway: Gunmetal. Precision-machined head geometry. Non-slip grip. Stainless steel threads.".
This statement leads me to believe the raw and the black are both anodized whereas the gunmetal may or may not be anodized. Am I correct, or am I missing something?
