I own this razor, and its by far my least favourite. the construction is great, and it feels solid in the hand, but its just too light. Compared to anything else the head and handle are so light its difficult for me to maintain a reasonable blade angle and avoid skips.

nimbiusI have to disagree. I am coming from the Edwin Jagger DE89, a very common beginner DE razor. The Standard Razor feels more mild but also shaves off hair more efficiently in my opinion. You could look at getting a different handle to increase the weight too.

nimbiusI was looking at the bespoke box deal yesterday but the weight issue made me suspect. Thanks for chiming in. Sure do like the look though.
