I've had these for years if anyone has any questions.
I'm not very well educated on audio so forgive me if this is a stupid question but, I would have to buy a stereo receiver for this right? And if so what is a cheaper one you would recommend
You will not you can connect it directly to your phone with the jack that's included!
I want to plug them into my PC but the integrated sound card isn't very good, do you think ill be fine anyway?
are they impressive or about the sound you would expect for 75?
I personally think that they are really good for the price they get really loud have excellent range and are pretty crisp. I'm more of a novice audiophile so definitely do your reading on it. I would buy them again for sure. They compare well with my ATH-m50s.
I've run them off my mobo and my phone and they have sounded good. I'm picking up a DAC/Amp which I plan on using with them and the akg 7xxs. I can't really tell you though since I've only ever used my motherboard and phone. Personally I think they sound good but I bet they could do more when paired with a good sound card.
They're self-powered. They connect to a device's standard 3.5mm stereo output or to conventional stereo RCA jacks.
They come with a cable to connect to a phone's 3.5mm stereo output.
Thousands have sold for $119 or more.
They will sound great, especially considering the price, but as always, if you have a dedicated DAC unit to send the signal their way, they'll sound all the better. These are self powered so you don't need an amp. Just a good old fashioned high impedance line level output.
You said it way better than I did lol
Sorry, I didn't see that you had replied to that exact question. I guess that's what I get for skimming through the conversation and replying halfway through instead of reading each post...
You hit some things better than I did its whatever man.
Run it off your motherboard (Built in sound card) and you will be fine
Looks to me like they should both work as they both have RCA outputs on them.
I went with an alternately branded version of the first link. Was able to save about $15-20 by doing that. Should be getting the speakers today.
Appreciate your comment. Thanks.
Yea no problem man hope they sound great!
