got my tracking number today. seems like they hit an unforeseen snag on account of the supplier. I see no reason to think they didn't update us about it as soon as they found out. crap happens.
it's a democracy for group purchases. not sure what part of that suggests to anyone that every suggested massdrop will be a good one and delivery will be consistent and swift, or how failing either one of those is entirely the fault of the facilitators.
I don't wish any of these guys out of a job, but it would be nice if the whole thing was mostly automated, and no actual people had to suffer this purposeless whinging.

It seems like a lot of people missed that post and got really pissed off.

Kwanyeah, second and third sentences of my post were based off that update. I've been satisfied with the entire experience, aside from some of the comments.
