Laogeodrittexactly and they show an SSD in there this is borderline misleading advertising if you are lucky you will get 60 Megabytes / seconds over that USB 2.0 compared to around 625 Megabytes on usb 3.0 which will not bottleneck pretty much any sata ssd

I don't think so; it's being clearly marketed as eSATA enclosure which just happens to have USB2 also; and eSATA in this application should be clearly faster than USB3.

the eSATA connection does redeem this device for people that will use that connection I will admit that. Thank you for posting that.
But even then it is SATA II bandwidth not SATA 3 I quote " eSATA Transfer Speeds up to 3.0 Gbps "
which is still way better than USB 2.0 but still a disappointment. The need to note is this thing is last gen and people need to understand that before buying it. Especially SSD users so they are not disappointment.
