I think a lot of you guys are comparing apples to oranges. These are pricey, super high quality multi purpose gadgets that absolutely do everything they say they'll do. I've bought a good number of this guys Titanium products and haven't been disappointed yet, but to be fair, you've got to look at them for what they are, not what they're not. I do feel like I paid a lot, but I think 10 years from now I'll still enjoy their craftsmanship and reliability and won't be sorry then that I spent a little extra now. Just because the guy was fooling around and repelling off his ceiling doesn't mean he's trying to push them for climbing gear, but I've got to say, if I ever needed pulled back up a 50 foot cliff from some hiking or camping incident I'd be pretty happy to have had these on hand! These things are just plain fun to have and that's part of what your paying for. Not to mention high grade Titanium isn't exactly cheap or easy to work with.....

HammerHand"These things are just plain fun"
It's a metal carabiner with some hexagon cutouts, how "fun" can it really be?
Also, it it just me or do all the pictures showing this being used as a wrench have a set of keys attached? Has anyone ever tried to actually use it that way? I would imagine it would be immensely annoying

douchecanoeI am sorry you are jealous of the product and (I assume) can't afford one. Unfortunately none of the points you have made are valid and you are coming across as a bit of a whiner. What do you even care? Don't buy one if you don't like it. Nobody is making you come to this page.
In the case of the keychain, ya I am sure it's really annoying for the 5 seconds it takes to complete the task being depicted in the ads (i.e. just a quick tightening). If you're doing something that takes longer (like assembling an ikea dresser) then it is not much of a time investment to take the 5 extra seconds to take the keychain off if it bothers you.
