I'm assuming the pen's ballpoint retracts, but thought I'd ask just to make sure .... what is the mechanism that makes it retract?

BartowPeachI saw a You Tube video that shows the ring near the tip turns and retracts the tip. The manufacturer's own website didn't even have this data. Horrible marketeers.

BartowPeachCorrect; you twist the knurled grip and it glides out. It's quite smooth, but with a bump at the end that I assume help keep it out while in use.
