I went and picked mine up today. The volume goes a fair bit higher than the TekNmotion without losing fidelity, the sound quality overall is comparable but I can tell the difference between my lower-bitrate mp3s and the higher quality ones which I couldn't really do with the TekNmotion. Spotify "available offline" mp3s sound perfectly adequate. For the intended use it's good value for money I'd say, but as an upgrade from a TekNmotion one it's a splurge at best. When you have access to a wall socket, any pair of computer speakers will play better sounding music, but for when you are without power, it's a handy little thing.
