These are described as slip ons. I have never tried on a pair. Are they "true" slip on, in the sense that I wouldn't have to bend down and use my finger to pull the heel back (like open heeled sandals), or would I have to use my hand? With loafers, the leather us often strong enough that I can slide my foot in while standing . I wonder if the canvas will give too much. We don't wear shoes inside, so we slip them on and off quite a bit and the ease of doing so is important to me. Any thoughts? Thanks.

thundercatsThese are like loafers, in that there are no laces so you can slip them on and off. With that said, they're not going to be like flip flops that require no more than minimal foot dexterity.

thundercatshe means yes, you will have to pick up your foot and likely use a finger to slide it on. I think these shoes are stylish but in the west might be a bit feminent or too post-dated. If I lived further south I'd buy a pair! Would be nice to see pictures of them on the foot.
