@Vulture_Premium I love your work, and I was in on the last MD strap offering you had {eagerly waiting for it as well ;) } Am I mistaken or are the photos for the standard width straps shown as wide straps? Does standard versus wide only refer to the shape of the buckle holes?

amdee1979Thank you very much for your kind words! I am just a weirdo who is obsessed with leather and on a quest to offer the best quality materials and craftsmanship I possibly can. It is nice to know it is appreciated haha. Its literally all I think about. I spent the month of July in Japan (man was it hottt!) studying with a master leather craftsman and feel that I can offer truly unique items with a degree of craftsmanship higher than the competition.
I am currently tackling those Derby straps. I think you will be very happy with yours. Horween Derby is quite a unique leather and very comfortable. Thank you very much for your support!

Right standard comes with the normal "pin" tongue buckle. The wide tongue option comes with a wide tongue buckle and matching oval holes.
A benefit of the Wide Tongue Oval Hole arrangement is a finer range of adjustment since the ovals can be placed closer together. This actually allows an additional hole to be added in the same mm range of adjustment (6 instead of 5), which I think is huge and am very proud of! This has been a long time in the making and has required some serious R&D and investment in hardware, but I couldn't be happier with the results.

amdee1979By the looks of it the regular are the round holes and the wide are the rectangular holes. I guess it more so depends on the style of watch you intend on fitting it to and wether or not you’ll be putting it on a deployant clasp.
