As you know, Massdrop uses bulk buying power to lower the cost of our items. Unfortunately, shipping costs are what they are and we can't change that. These shoe trees are heavy and for that reasons the shipping cost is high. We bundled them in packs of two to make shipping costs much cheaper for our US orders; unfortunately, this made shipping a bit more expensive for international orders. Either way, these shipping charges are still less than what you would pay for the full-price item on the Woodlore site.
So to summarize, we can control the price of the item but we can't control the price of shipping. Shipping is not a profit point for us and we pass the costs directly on to you (or eat the cost ourselves, if possible). I will look into other shipping options in the future that will help our international friends, but it's unlikely that it will ever be free.
