Finally got this board (ordered elsewhere). One note: it works straight out of the box. You need to download the software only if you want to change default key programming. I'm still pending delivery of dielectric grease for stabilizers so it's not fully build yet. I have no experience so I can't comment on quality of this plate-mount stabilizers, assembled and clicked in one, seems solid. Mini-usb to mini-usb cable connecting two halves is just black, basic cable. Does anyone know where to buy coiled mini-usb to mini-usb, ideally white or light grey to match color of aluminium case? No luck finding it so far. I think this layout is not perfect, but split design is the way to go and this is the right choice if you can't live without traditional arrows cluster (my ergodox deal breaker). Overall, 4 out of 5 stars. I'll write more after a month or so of using it.

VonsooWouldn't it be pretty simple to modify an ErgoDox layout to include a dedicated arrow cluster?

JoshimitsuI think this will be my next step. ErgoDox does not have enough keys to have all letters, commas of the right part and arrows on the same layer. I'll have to learn how to use JIKL + a fn as arrows. This is a problem as I'm using a lot of alt+arrow or ctrl+arrow, but perhaps I'll be able to program it to achieve it with one key + fn.
