This is exactly what I was hoping for: a small footprint so it's easy to tuck away in a small apartment, makes a good amount of rice for a couple of people, and the quality of the result is so much better than what I make without a cooker. Cleaning has been a breeze; everything pops apart easily, and it feels like it will hold up well. I'm a little worried about the thin gasket around the upper liner, but that's going to just be a case of being careful with it, I think.
It's also adorable: my rice cooker has a little elephant on it, and it plays music when it needs me to do something. I was... not expecting how much joy I would get out of that. ;)
