Skyline fixed blade remake! Back in like 2012 Kershaw did a fixed blade version of the Skyline. Pictured is a Skyline XL flipper. Anyone else concur?

Wow, I forgot about the Skyline. It used to be one of those knives that I wanted and that I gifted but never bought for myself. Personally, I'd rather get my hands on a US made Zing with the G10 and striated blade. I had a Zing Tanto but the original spoke to me more.  But definitely, the fixed Skylines were cool knives. I remember seeing someone take the challenge to chop down a tree with one on a forum somewhere. His status updates were killer.

I love my Skylines. They're great, little knives- good steel (fixed is S30V, folder is damascus), real sharp and very solid.

Cool, I like yours. I haven't seen that versions before. Are those the original scales? I have wanted the one with orange G-10 scales that Blade HQ had years ago. I picked up a Black (ugh) G-10 last year. It didn't want to pay the extra for the one with CF scales. I was surprised how stout the blade was.

I have, although I only paid like $30 for my XL, they want like $40 to $55 or more for the replacement scales, don't get me wrong they're hella cool, just a bit spendy IMO.

No, I never even knew they were there for the XL.   I probably won't for my XL folder.  I did put my first Damascus Skyline folder into a Green  Aluminum Honeycomb.  It looks awesome and I swapped them right there in the parking lot in case there was an issue.
