So, Asus finally took the wraps off the prices on the FX505DY and FX705DY laptops. For those who haven't been following these two laptops are the very first Ryzen 3xxx series laptops to hit the market, and the very first Ryzen laptops of any kind to my knowledge that contain a discrete 1080p capable GPU. The mobile RX 560.
The price point is attractive, converting from Euro's the US prices should be somewhere between ~$599(US) to ~$799(US). The build quality, promoted as Asus reaching Military Specifications, probably means these laptops will do very well in the Esports market.
But... they aren't laptops that I personally would want to buy. One deal breaker is the appearance of an HDMI port. Really? An HDMI port? Why?
Let's be honest here for a second. Even Nintendo is using USB Type C DisplayPort output to provide HDMI. When Nintendo, whose legacy of hardware choices includes shipping a 12 year old ARM V7 processor in a mobile device instead of using the available ARM V8 for...
Does anyone have any experience with replacing the batteries in the sound-sport frees?
So I have owned Bose’s truly wireless earbuds, the sound sport frees, for almost 3 years and the batteries inside are on their last legs. My warranty is up, and i don't mind taking them apart, so I would like to try and replace the batteries myself. I have found videos for the regular sound sports that are Bluetooth but wired together, but I would assume that it would be different, due to having just one battery in one of the buds, rather than separate batteries in each of the buds. Overall I would just like to know if anyone has an experience with this, or knows a procedure or parts I would need. Any information is appreciated.
To start this off how can I say this... my keyboard only works usb type c to type c. After spending a nice amount on not just the board but a custom cable as well... also my rgb brightness control doesnt work at all and for some reason my keyboard wont type and instead pulls up menus while browsing trying to type in the search bar. Anyone else having issues like this, its not all the time but sometimes..? I have the mito laser mass drop alt btw and yes the rgb does work but not always....only when connected to a type c to type c does it work with most issues fixed besides the rgb brightness control.
Just curious why there don't seem to be any active monitor drops going on? A lot of people are working from home and it seems like a great time to have them.
Maybe I just can't find them for some reason?
