Man have you ever hit the nail on the head Doug. I've been feeling every bit of what you shared about the nagitive feelings cased by the nonsensical changes done to this website. I too used to enjoy surching through all the different sections I liked on Massdrop. Often several times a day but now it's just not enjoyable with this new format. I feel shitty being so nagitive because as I've mentioned many times before Massdrop has played a big part in allowing me to continue buying knives from the USA without worrying weather I'm actually going to get the knife I bought or will I loose it at the border to some customs officer over some BS law. For that I'll always be greatful but at this point the powers that be must realize the format change was a massive mistake. I understand they wanted to change there look along with the name change but there must be a better solution then this. I honestly don't know squat about computers or websites but its plan as day for anybody to see this Format Sucks big time. Please consider going back to the old set up. Give it a different look but the old format was light years ahead of what replaced it. Trevor

T.willyAfter all the hubbub about adding more communities, seems like that's been quietly dialed back. Looks like blades is now back a part of everyday carry.

BknguyenYeah I saw that last week myself. I agree with another member who speculated it was done because of people complaining there wasn't enough new knives getting added. I don't know if that's the only reason but it seems like the main one to me at least.

BknguyenI hear ya there. 6 or 7 months ago Massdrop had a pretty big buzz going on at multiple levels of the knife community from what I could tell at least. Then between the Price hikes and the horrific "New Website" everything seems to be going counter intuitive to what seemed was working quite well as it was. I just hope someone is behind the seans working on getting things back on the right path. Hopefully starting with going back to something similar to there original website format. 👍😎

T.willyLol no worries, I was a little confused there. Anyway, I read through their thread of why these changes happened and seems like....things aren't going well. Seems like they're having a bit of an identity crisis.

BknguyenThanks that was a great read. I'm always impressed with Kavik's abilities to cut through the crap and shine a light were it's most needed. Thanks Kavik. 👊😆

BknguyenLol thanks for tagging me in on this, I never would've seen it otherwise. Thanks for the compliments guys, glad to hear it's appreciated, but it will be more helpful the more people chime in *hint hint* 😉👍 There was another post prior to that one, that was a little more of a shit-show, if you want more to read: https://drop.com/talk/25034/changes-in-several-drop-communities-and-interests?utm_source=linkshare&referer=94FC7J But yeah, sounds like they're floundering a bit and trying to figure out how to recover before sinking 😬 They say their focusing more now on their "Drop made" stuff...but they're not going to keep afloat with these retail priced "deals" supplementing their house brand stuff, while they're creeping higher and higher on their collab prices. They're asking for the moon on some of these things, given the materials, but in all honesty they're untested blades until the first couple of batches go through. Hard to justify the risk anymore when it's barely lower than the cost of other "known good" products, ya know? Not to mention the horrible false advertising issues lately, but that's another whole story, and one I'm fighting with "support" about now, before it turns into BBB/FTC/legal issues.....😩 I don't come here nearly as much as I used to either...and my purchases are WAY down from what they were before the rebranding.

KavikI ordered two knives...one coming in December and one coming in January. I hope Drop doesn’t go bankrupt and not deliver my knives to me!
