what is your fave at home brew method? i have a drip brewer for no fuss mornings, but love the richness and sometimes the ritual of a cup made with a french press or single cup pour over. how about you?

vagabondindigoI usually go with Chemex or V60 since I enjoy the pour over process, but I grew up with a French Press in my home so I'll always have a soft spot for French Press coffee.

vagabondindigoI bought a small and relatively cheap espresso machine for me and my fiance about a year ago, and it has been so fun to experiment with! Recently started an Angels Cup subscription, and trying out the beans they send in the espresso machine really helps to understand the different flavors that exist within coffee. My favorite drink I've made was a latte using a doubleshot of Ethiopian with a little bit of honey and caramel. Also experimenting with the V60 recently, but still figuring it out! :)

vagabondindigoIf I'm at a coffee shop, I'll always go for a pour over, but at home I use a french press. I don't trust my skills to do the pour over justice.

vagabondindigoMy go-to method at home is the smallest Chemex pot, but when I have to brew for a few people, I drag out the old vacuum pot. People are amused by the process and the coffee is good.
At work, I use a Rok.

vagabondindigoAeropress for just me, Chemex for two, V60 for special coffees, and French press or drip for parties.

vagabondindigoChemex all the way. Prefer the glass handle version for ease of use and clean up.

vagabondindigoChemex is pretty much the best of every method rolled into one. It's my preference. This being said I no longer own one because we've gone through two of them in my household. They are very fragile and slippery.

Dr.McCoythat is always a caution for me. i trynot to get glass vessels because i tend to break them. i broke several glass carafes from coffee makers before i stuck to metal carafes and have been thru MANY french presses. maybe now that i move slower i willbe better? lol
