hey everyone ive been tinkering alot trying to get the keyboard out of this download mode. so me being new did a rename on the configurator file to make it a bin. it came in as a crgz file. The rename to .bin even tho it took and gave me a success locked up the keyboard. i did a new config file from drop configurator and then just double clicked the file which then gave me a proper bin file. flashed the keyboard with new config file that i guess now is a true .bin file and BOOM! keyboard is back up. hope this helps any other newbies.

kpaladiniHey, thanks for the update. Not sure why it downloaded as a .crgz file for you (did you mean cpgz?). We'll switch the configurator in the near future to output .hex files instead of .bin files to avoid weird browser/OS interactions with the .bin output.

The blinking orange LED means the keyboard detects power, but there's still a connectivity issue. Did you happen to omit the "--restart" option when you flashed it? It sounds like the keyboard may still be in DFU mode. You can always reset the keyboard by unplugging it and plugging it back in.

./mdloader_mac --first --download ./massdrop_alt_md_configurator_1567561835_859234654.bin --restart

kpaladiniWhat ended up being the solution here? Mine is the same. And I've reinstalled the default bin many times
