How do you store flour? In plastic, glass or aluminium containers?

TesshanDoes not matter, so long as it is air tight.
I prefer plastic, but that is just a preference. Easier to clean, cheaper than metal and less breakable than glass

RgconnerAt the moment I have flour and semolina in plastic containers and coffee in glass ones but I would prefer to have them all in glass ones. But for now the space is limited.

TesshanI have done both plastic and ceramic and like them both equal. As long as they are air tight, as already said, it is fine and just personal preference at that point.

TesshanI store mine in plastic, I buy a large bag and it would be too much trouble to have a glass container that large on the counter. I keep it under the counter in a large plastic container and it would be too heavy to lift a glass container that size.

TesshanWe store in pyrex. Also, just a tip, you can freeze surplus flour too. It keeps wonderfully.
