What is the best way to set this up if you are on a rocky ground and can't use stakes?

It is more challenging to pitch if the ground won't accept stakes. On soft ground (sand, snow) you can bury sticks as anchors, but on a very rocky ground you're pretty much limited to tying off to rocks, or working to get stakes in. The stock stakes are narrow and fairly stiff, so you can often get them into quite rocky ground, but within reason.
