would the TKL version be compatible with a standard 60 layout?

It depends mostly on your bottom two rows on your PCB. If you have something like the DZ60 hot swappable version you need to make sure that keys listed in the TKL kit will fit the bottom rows. Because that hot swap pcb is configured to only one layout. If you have the DZ60 in a soldered version you would be just fine cause you can customize that bottom row to fit the layout of the keys you get. So take a look at your PCB and what configs it supports then look at this TKL kit and you will have your answer for sure!
