Problem with ALT

more_vert
My ALT just came in tonight and I encountered an issue when trying to change the colors of the LEDs. When I tried to flash the keyboard I got the "Complete! Success! Success!" , but my keyboard didn't come back on and windows was making the sound like a device was disconnecting and connecting. I used the hole on the back of the keyboard to reset it and a solid orange light came on. I tried flashing again multiple times, I tried different cables, and I tried re-downloading the tool/applet and recompiling the .bin file and nothing has worked. Every time I try to flash the same thing happens (windows device sound) until I reset with the button and the orange light comes on solid again. Can anyone point me in the right direction? As is probably evident, I am new to this.

So after using QMK Toolbox I was able to get the keyboard to flash to the original settings, but now I am unable to figure out how to flash it to be the colors that I want it to be. It seems to be the configurator files that are the issue, because if I use the files that go along with the toolbox as "default" it flashes fine but as soon as I use the files that are compiled with Drop's configurator they don't work. Any suggestions anyone?

With the default .bin file flashed onto the ALT, does the keyboard work?

Yeah, I submitted a ticket but I guess they're busy right now because they said a response could take 5-7 days. -_-
