Email frequency option

What do y'all think about having an option to change the email frequency? I like taking a look at them but having them daily is a bit much for me.
If there's actually an option for this that I couldn't find, feel free to point me in the right direction.
Also, how about a meta-discussion category because this doesn't really fit where I'm putting it. Sorry about that!

Change send and receive frequency in Outlook® 2010:
  1. Launch the Outlook® 2010 application.
  2. Switch to the “Send / Receive” tab in the main ribbon.
  3. Click on the “Send / Receive Groups” button in the “Send & Receive“ section.
  4. Select “Define Send / Receive Groups“ option.
  5. Now, select the group you want to change for email time frequency or select “All Accounts“ to change the period for all.
  6. Change the minutes for “Schedule an automatic send / receive every X minutes“.
  7. Click on the “Close“ button.

I like the daily Emails, although the last couple days/weeks they have been very sparse on sending me any Emails at all

I get liking it, that's why I had signed up for it in the first place, but recently it feels like it's just a bit much for me. That's why I want to at least have the option open.
