Any low profile full size mech keyboards?

more_vert
Basically that. I love mechanical keyboards but I really have a lot of issue with the height of so many of them. I really want something that sits as low on the desk as possible! I'd love something with a space-bar row at 0.5 of an inch (or lower) to the top of the keys. A bit of an incline up from that is fine and I'd be OK if the function keys sat around 1 inch off the desktop, but I want it as low as possible! Am I grasping at straws here? The two boards I have start at over 0.75 of an inch and the one is at 1.25. I've been looking around and everything I find is so tall!

Well it's been about 6 weeks since I got the Havit. I'm really enjoying this keyboard! I do wish I could reduce the height just a BIT more but this is the most comfortable mech keyboard I've used in a long time! It fast becoming my favorite keyboard!

Picked up the Havit now I just need to find some flat top key caps like the Tesoro has!

OrillianWell boys and girls...Havit HV-KB395L is in. So far this is promising! It's only about an 8th of an inch thicker than my wife's Logitech butterfly switch keyboard...model unknown.
So far it's very nice! Key spacing is great and the feel is very nice! And not as loud as regular blues!
One complaint! My eyes wig out if I have the back lighting turned up too high, every time I glance in the direction of the keyboard it makes my eyes go weird. I have the brightness turned way low and it's ok!
Thanks for the heads up on this board!

Ooh ooh, I am in the middle of testing out a Havit in those low profile kailh blue switches and I think I like it. Still has that tactile feedback of the standard blues (though less pronounced) and the short throw makes for much faster and more accurate typing. The difference is noticeable. I do think that there is a sacrifice, as the switches aren't quite as satisfying as normal full size blues, but definitely worth checking out, and not crazy expensive.
