I'm writing this post to gauge how others would feel if the current CTRL/ALT PCB's where updated to support 5-pin switches and potentially even holes for PCB mount stabilisers. I understand that if both 5-pin switch capabilities and PCB mount stabilisers where made available for the PCB there would need to be slight modifications made to the case of the particular keyboard, i will elaborate on my thoughts on this topic below. I have also heard issues with north facing LED's and getting some sort of interference when it comes to using certain switches with Cherry profile keycaps such as GMK, if anyone has encounter this please share in the comments below as i have personally not faced this issue on my CTRL.
I would love to see a new PCB be offered on the drop store for the CTRL and ALT that can be bought separately that supports both 5-pin switches and PCB-mount stabilisers. Extra cases and switches are offered as a stand alone product on the Drop Store and i feel like...

DROP View - Monitor That Matches Fit and Finish of DROP Mech Boards?
TLDR: DROP should make a high res monitor that matches the ALT/CTRL/SHIFT boards in design language + fit and finish. Just drop a good pre-existing panel in an aluminum enclosure with that signature LED acrylic strip and a controller board that doesn't lock you into the Apple ecosystem to control more than 4k. If LG can get $1500 for a crappy plastic monitor, and Apple wants $6k for 6k, there has to be some in between market.
More wishful thinking:
Has anyone else out there been looking for external monitors for WFH and realized that there are essentially three camps, and that you don't fall into any of them?
Camp 1: Crap you'd find in Office Depot. They probably don't list their resolution because their customer base probably doesn't know or care what that means unless they saw it in operation. Cheap, but not as cheap as they should be.
Camp 2: Gamer monitors. Seemingly prioritizing nothing but refresh rate with a resolution that is almost certainly at or below 1440p. Almost...
I have designed and printed a set of keycap which based on my layout and compatible with some popular layout on Ergodox EZ website. Some print is not on perfect position on this sample.
I may consider to start a group buy. Please leave your comments.

Greetings Mech Keys Community,
It goes without saying that the last 6 months have been pretty turbulent for everyone. We’ve gone from running at full capacity, to complete factory shutdowns, working from home, and operating a social distanced shipping operation. The good news is that we're finally starting to adapt to all of these changes and get our feet under us. We've gone from being extremely behind and delayed on everything, to almost catching up and being in-stock on most of our popular products. COVID is still around, but we’ve made significant operational changes to try to minimize its disruption on our core operations. For those of you who have patiently stood by and supported us, we extend a huge thank you for your support.
Throughout this time, we've invested a significant amount of time planning the next 12 months and we’ve thought long and hard about a vision for how we want to focus our offerings to the Mechanical Keyboard community. The theme that we found to be...
Ive been customizing the hell out of my keyboard and I love it, but I want a wrist rest that isn't some foam ugly rectangle. I know that a few wrist rests have been sold before, but I feel like I never see many. Anybody else want to see a variety of wrist rests that are unique, like many of the artisan key caps?
We've recently been informed by our keycap partner, GMK, that the ship dates on all keycap sets have been pushed back due to manufacturing delays that they are experiencing. They've communicated the following estimated ship dates* to us:
GMK White on Black - October 2020
GMK Red Samurai - November 2020
GMK Belafonte - December 2020
GMK Hennessey - December 2020
GMK Godspeed - January 2021
GMK Kaiju - January 2021
GMK Blue Samurai - February 2021
GMK Laser - February 2021
We're obviously very disappointed to hear this news and GMK has assured us that they are doing everything that they can to "catch up" on their schedule. As one of GMK's largest keycap distributors, we have guaranteed manufacturing slots so these delays are less severe for us versus other vendors running group buys. Please note that the above shipping estimates are based on scheduled production capacity, and may be further adjusted based on designer approvals (for example: color matching a specific set could...
Drop alt keyboard no longer works after setting wrong bin file
So I was trying to remap and change the leds on my drop alt keyboard and I accidently put the applet-flash-samd51j18a.bin file instead of my own and now I can't get it back, the keyboard just doesn't work I even tried the button on the bottom of the keyboard to reset it that way on cmd and it didn't work. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I am planning to buy a drop alt but am unsure of the switches I should choose. My keyboard would be primarily for gaming but also some typing. I would also prefer a quieter noise as to not create noise through my microphone when playing with people. It seems to me like the MX Browns are a good choice but I have seen that the Halo Clears might be better? I am still a beginner around keyboards so suggestions would be very much appreciated.
This is a long time since the last post! And finally I sorted out all the problems, come up with the 4th version of the Space Trek prototype. Hopefully, you will like it.
This is a special flip paint which originally use on cars, I did a special coating at the bottom to gives better adhesion. Apart from that, I also did a "Graphene" coating on top to gives more protection on the paint, which can avoid some little scratch.
The project is not finish, yet! I still got some improvement to do before it launch. And will post some update later on.
Thank you for your reading, please do not hesitate to leave me your comments.
