Not only does the Nexus 7 lack a microSD slot, the Tab has a 4450 mAh battery as opposed to the Nexus' 3950 mAh. Although, I'm not too impressed with the Tab's pixel density (only 189 ppi; the Nexus totally blows it out of the water here), the lack of a microSD slot is a huge deal breaker for me. Why should I pay extra to get another 16GB of onboard storage when 32GB won't even be enough for all I want to put on it?
All the other options I've looked at seem to suck. The ASUS MeMO Pad HD 7 has a microSD slot, but shitty pixel density. Anyone know of a 6-8" tablet that has both a microSD slot and good pixel density? (preferrably way above 216ppi).

rusty_shacklefordI've got the original with 8gig and have only recently run into storage problems. DIfferent use cases clearly. A microSD slot would make this an even better device, but it's still my favorite tablet on the market.

rusty_shacklefordLG Pad 8.3 sounds like a fit for you, with a beautiful 273 ppi screen and a microSD slot. I played with it for a little while and absolutely loved it. The screen was noticeably bigger than a Nexus 7's and didn't feel as cramped when doing certain tasks. Biggest drawback is the price though, $350 feels like way too much.
