For me the Field Skillet No. 10 is an amazing pan. (Not on the list, but it's my favorite!) The No. 8 seems to maintain the features and benefits of it's larger sibling. I've not had a lot of time with it, but my few test cooks were good.
The No. 12 from Smithey is also a good pan. Very smooth surface and maybe marginally less non-stick than the field skillets, but it looses points in my mind simply due to the size. For me it's just a little heavy for regular use. Cooks great but this big boy just hangs on the wall more often than not I'm afraid. Smithey No. 10 is very comparable mind you and a good all around fry pan!
The Combekk Railway, while relatively smooth; with a much cleaner finish than say lodge pans; looses points due to the wood handle. Can't use that one in the oven! Cooking on it on the stove top is more than adequate mind you. The wooden handle does lighten the weight, but the balance isn't as nice due to that.
I know this survey is over, but I figured I'd add some personal experience with some of the pans in here for anyone interested.
